Mission

Our mission is to provide a specific space that allows for students to exercise and practice agency, deepen their understanding of self and community, and engage in opportunities for self-advocacy, community accountability, anti-racism efforts and intersectionality awareness.  A space that allows minoritized racial and intersectionality affinity groups to meet and organize for their own initiatives.  A place that helps students feel welcomed, empowered and safe to advocate their own opinions and concerns for the sake of clarity, understanding, acceptance, and their ultimate success.

Testimonial

“Campus Unification helped create a space in which students felt they had a platform to speak about issues concerning them. Varying from outside of school issues all the way to bullying inside school grounds. Gio and his position provided more of an outreach from students and teachers. It acted as the bridge of communication and helped everyone see different points of views. Thanks to Campus Unification my education and my years at Pali gave me a sense of empowerment and safety. They made sure intersectionality was noted when having heavy conversations and that’s one of the most powerful tools to create opportunities and conversations.”

Having the opportunity to experience a person like Gio is rare. He has an uplifting, and compassionate personality that helped me grow into a stronger individual. I’m grateful we’ve crossed paths.
